Manhattan and Queens have been recreated very well and the game just has a ton of personality to the way it looks. It really gives the game that comic book style to it and you do feel like you are playing through an interactive comic book which is a lot of fun. During this time many developers were using cell shaded graphics and I think that this is one of the best to do it. Ultimate Spider-Man is a great looking game. As you would expect, Venom and Spider-Man have their own attacks and style of play too which is fun. It is all very cinematic and something that I enjoyed a great deal. Venom is trying to avoid being captured, there are many different story paths and the way the two stories connect is very cool stuff. Spidey is investigating Trask industries to find out more about Venom. The story takes place after the Venom arc and each character has their own story to play through. One of the big selling points of Ultimate Spider-Man was that it let you play the game as both Spider-Man and Venom. The main versions that I am familiar with are the Game Cube (which I am basing this review on) and the Nintendo DS version too. It was based on the relaunch of the character by Marvel and it features some amazing cell shaded graphics, fast gameplay, and some interesting new designs for classic Spidey characters. It is a bit of an underrated game and one that I think is far better than people realize. That said, it is fun to play and if you're a Spidey fan you should enjoy it.Ultimate Spider-Man is a 2005 video game that was released on pretty much anything that could play a video game back in the day. Super-Man Ultimate Power doesn't break any new ground in terms of gameplay. They are bright and colorful and the characters look more or less as they do in the cartoon. The graphics in Spider-Man Ultimate Power aren't stunning by Android superhero game standards. Pulling off combos or wrapping up a bad guy in a web is very gratifying! Comic book style It's all very fast and furious but it's good fun.
The controls for all of these are pretty simple to grasp and Spider-Man automatically runs so you only need to control his actions. The action in Spider-Man Ultimate Power consists of running, jumping, swinging and shooting.
You can earn/purchase game currency in Spider-Man Ultimate Power which can be used for upgrading Spidey's powers, applying boosts, or unlocking different suits to wear.
Missions are varied and include tasks such as destroying a set number of bad guys, or collecting things. In Story mode you must complete missions to progress through the storyline. Spider-Man Ultimate Power has two game modes: Story and Survival.
